Nicholas St. Fleur

Science Reporter and Host of "Color Code" Podcast, STAT

Nicholas St. Fleur is a science reporter at STAT; host of STAT's health equity podcast, “Color Code;” and associate editorial director of events at STAT. He covers the intersection of race, medicine, and the life sciences. He came to STAT as a Knight-Wallace Reporting Fellow in 2020. Prior to joining STAT, St. Fleur was a freelance science journalist in the San Francisco Bay Area covering archaeology, paleontology, space, and other curiosities of the cosmos. He previously worked for The New York Times and The Atlantic. St. Fleur won the 2021 Evert Clark/Seth Payne Award for Young Science Journalists and was a winner of the 2023 June L. Biedler Prize for Cancer Journalism.
