Cesar Conde

Chairman, NBCUniversal News Group; Trustee, The Aspen Institute

César Conde is chairman of NBCUniversal News Group, with oversight including NBC News, CNBC, MSNBC and Telemundo and achievements including increased viewership and substantial investments in digital and streaming. Shortly after joining the company in 2020, Conde established an initiative to increase diversity; at its core is the journalism training program NBCU Academy, which partners with academic institutions serving underrepresented communities. His previous roles at NBCUniversal include chairman of its International Group and Telemundo Enterprises and executive vice president of international and digital enterprises. Earlier in his career, Conde was president of Univision Networks, a White House fellow for then-secretary of state Colin Powell, and worked for StarMedia Network and Salomon Smith Barney. A trustee of the Aspen Institute, he is a director of Walmart and PepsiCo and a Council on Foreign Relations board member.
