David Boies

David Boies is chairman of Boies, Schiller and Flexner LLP. He has been named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time, and Global International Litigator of the Year by Who’s Who Legal an unprecedented seven times. Boies was co-lead counsel for the plaintiffs in Perry v. Brown and Bostic v. Virginia, winning judgments that established the federal constitutional right for gay and lesbian citizens to marry. Boies served as counsel to the FDIC during the savings and loan crisis and was lead counsel for the Justice Department in the anti-trust case against Microsoft. He has received numerous awards and honors over the years.
