David Holmberg

David Holmberg is president and CEO of Highmark Health, a national health and wellness enterprise, and chairman of the board of Highmark Inc., the health insurance affiliate of Highmark Health. He joined Highmark Inc. in 2007, serving in a series of executive positions, most recently president of Diversified Businesses. Holmberg has also been CEO of HVHC Inc. and CEO and chairman of HM Insurance Group, United Concordia Dental, and Visionworks. He serves as board chair of Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and American Health Insurance Plans, and on the board of directors of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
