Diana Trujillo

Perseverance Flight Director, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA

Diana Trujillo is a flight director at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She is a space explorer and aerospace engineer working on the Mars Perseverance Rover mission, helping to determine if ancient life ever existed on the planet’s surface. Previously, Trujillo contributed to human and robotic space exploration missions, including the Cygnus International Space Station resupply vehicle, the Constellation Program, the Mars Curiosity and Perseverance rovers, and the Mars Ingenuity helicopter. She created and hosted “Juntos Perseveraremos,” NASA’s first Spanish-language live broadcast of a Mars landing, which attracted a global audience of millions. Trujillo also started and hosted NASA’s “Los Martes de Marte” video series, providing Spanish-language updates of NASA’s Perseverance and Ingenuity missions.
