Hoda Hawa is the social impact manager at Participant, a media company dedicated to entertainment that inspires positive social change. Previously, she was the director of policy and advocacy at the Muslim Public Affairs Council. Hawa has written and spoken widely, including speaking at a White House Women's History Month event honoring the contributions of American Muslim women and at the US Institute for Peace panel discussion on religion, violence, and coexistence. She has been featured on BBC, Al Hurra TV, Fox News, MSNBC, Voice of America, NPR, and C-SPAN. Hawa is an advisory council member at the Center for Democracy and Technology, a Google Next Gen Policy Leader, and USC American Muslim Civic Leadership Institute Program Fellow.
