Judy Woodruff

Former Anchor and Managing Editor, "PBS News Hour"

Judy Woodruff is anchor and managing editor of “PBS NewsHour.” She has covered politics and other news as an anchor or senior correspondent for four decades at PBS, CNN, and NBC. Woodruff also anchored a monthly program for Bloomberg Television, was a visiting professor at Duke and visiting fellow at Harvard, and is a founding co-chair of the International Women’s Media Foundation. Her board service includes the Freedom Forum and Public Radio International, and she has received numerous awards, including the Poynter Medal for Lifetime Achievement in Journalism, the Gwen Ifill Press Freedom Award, and the Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. She authored the book, This Is Judy Woodruff at the White House.
