Journalist; Author, True Believer: Stalin's Last American Spy

Kati Marton is a best-selling author, journalist, and human rights advocate. Since 1980, she has published nine books and reported for ABC News, PBS, NPR, The New Yorker, Atlantic Monthly, The Times of London, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Vanity Fair,and The New Republic. Her books include a memoir, Paris: A Love Story and True Believer: Stalin’s Last American Spy. Marton’s current board service includes the Committee to Protect Journalists, International Rescue Committee, and New America Foundation. She has chaired the International Women’s Health Coalition, was chief advocate for the UN special representative for children and armed conflict, and was on the Human Rights Watch board.
