Khaliah Ali is a fashion designer, communicator, and former Ford plus-size model. In addition to her collection of affordable clothing and popular sewing patterns, she’s the author of Fighting Weight. Ali has been editor in chief of WLS Lifestyles Magazine, a CondeʼNast contributing editor, and Huffington Post contributor and has published editorials in The New York Times and USA Today. A public speaker, she has numerous television and radio appearances and has been featured in People, Self, and others. Ali received the Pennsylvania Broadcasters Award and an Emmy nomination for her work hosting a children’s television show. Her service includes Steve Erwin’s Wildlife Warriors, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, World Food Program, Project Sunshine, We Are Family, and Help USA.
