Kristina Friedman is the head of global environmental, social, and governance strategy at PayPal. She has over 15 years of experience working in the financial and government sectors providing guidance and solutions, including a decade of environmental expertise. Prior to PayPal, Friedman was a lead ESG research analyst at Calvert Research and Management. There, she focused on corporate performance and shareholder advocacy to improve sustainability programs. Prior to this, Friedman worked for the US Environmental Protection Agency, US House of Representatives, and Citigroup. She received her bachelor’s in finance from Virginia Commonwealth University and her master’s of public policy from Georgetown University.
