Leslie Picker

Leslie Picker is a reporter at CNBC, covering hedge funds, private equity, and asset management. Reporting for television and the network’s digital platforms, she has interviewed many of America’s most prominent investors. Previously, Picker was a reporter at The New York Times, covering mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, venture capital, private equity, restructuring, and shareholder activism. Prior to that, she was a reporter at Bloomberg News, covering initial public offerings and contributing to Bloomberg Businessweek, Bloomberg Television, and Bloomberg Radio. Before that, Picker was a segment producer for Bloomberg Television. Her investigation into Puerto Rico’s debt crisis won a Society for Advanced Business Editing and Writing award and was a finalist for a Gerald Loeb Award in 2018.
