Michelle Dubon Estrada

Michelle Dubon Estrada is an ob-gyn and the medical director at WINGS Guatemala, which provides services to thousands of people each year, focusing on reproductive health education and services to primarily underserved, rural Guatemalans. Estrada, who knew she wanted to be a doctor from a young age, performed as a ballet dancer before completing her medical degree. Her passion stems from caring for young girls who had unwanted pregnancies, and she now advocates for laws that would give young Guatemalan girls access to contraceptives. Estrada is a member of the 2019 class of New Voices Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
