Neil Leibowitz

Neil Leibowitz is the chief medical officer at Talkspace, a medical technology company that provides online behavioral-health treatment. In this role, he oversees the quality of care provided by clinicians on the platform. A practicing psychiatrist, Leibowitz also teaches health law at St. Francis College in New York City and is a health care quality-improvement consultant and medical expert consultant to the New York State Department of Health. Previously, he was a senior behavioral health medical director at United Healthcare/Optum, mental health director for New York City Jails, and inpatient unit director and assistant professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine Montefiore Medical Center.
