Olivia Walton is co-founder of the Heartland Summit, a Walton Family Foundation event aimed at kickstarting economic growth in the heartland. She also serves on the Home Region Committee of the Walton Family Foundation, focusing on quality-of-life initiatives in northwest Arkansas and the Delta region of Arkansas and Mississippi. And she serves on the board of Thaden School and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Until 2016, Walton was a journalist and was the business and technology correspondent for NBC News, reporting for “Today,” “Nightly News with Lester Holt,” and MSNBC. Before joining NBC, she was a reporter and anchor for Bloomberg Television in New York and London.
