
Paula Johnson
President, Wellesley College
Paula Johnson is president of Wellesley College. Until 2016, she was founding executive director of the Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology, chief of the Women’s Health Division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and professor of epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. A cardiologist who advances the well-being of women, she is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the National Academy of Medicine, and was named one of the top 25 Women in Higher Education and Beyond by Diverse magazine. TED called her 2013 TED Talk one of the “top 10 TED talks by women.”
