Tabitha Saoyo is a human rights lawyer in Kenya who litigates on behalf of marginalized women. The deputy executive director of KELIN Kenya, she specializes in issues surrounding safe abortion, forced sterilization of women, and sexual and gender-based violence. As an advocate, Saoyo works to integrate constitutional and human rights changes into policies, laws, and frameworks. She was previously in private practice at Madan-Handa Advocates, worked at the Ark Foundation of Ghana, was a program officer for reproductive health rights at the Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya, and consulted for the Reproductive Health and Rights Alliance. Saoyo is a 2019 New Voices Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
