Wendy Taylor

Former Director, Center for Accelerating Innovation and Impact, USAID

Wendy Taylor was director of the Center for Accelerating Innovation and Impact at the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Taylor founded and built the center, which applies business-minded approaches to priority global health innovations. She has spearheaded several Grand Challenges, including for maternal and newborn health, Ebola, Zika and future threats, and created multiple public-private partnerships. Taylor previously founded the nonprofit Bio Ventures for Global Health, held senior positions with Malaria No More and the Biotechnology Industry Organization, and worked in the executive and legislative branches of the US government, including the Office of Management and Budget and the House Committee on Ways and Means.
