Josephine Wolff is an assistant professor in Rochester Institute of Technology’s Public Policy Department and an extended faculty member of the Computing Security Department. She is a faculty associate at Harvard Berkman Center for Internet and Society and a fellow at the New America Cybersecurity Initiative. She researches cybersecurity policy and is working on a project about cybersecurity incidents in the past decade, tracing their economic and legal aftermath and their impact on technical, social, and political lines of defense. She writes regularly about cybersecurity for Slate, and her writing has appeared in The AtlanticScientific AmericanThe New RepublicNewsweek, and the New York Times Opinionator blog.
